เพิ่งออกเวอร์ชัน 10.52 ไปเมื่อวันที่ 27 เมษายน 2553 ที่ผ่านมา แต่เนื่องจากเกิดปัญหาเรื่องความปลอดภัยร้ายแรง ในวันที่ 30 เมษายน 2553 ทางทีมพัฒนาจึงต้องออก Opera 10.53 เพื่อปรับปรุงสเถียรภาพการทำงานและแก้ไขปัญหาความปลอดภัยที่แฮกเกอร์สามารถใช้ทำการรันโค้ดอันตรายได้
โดย Opera นับว่าโปรแกรมอินเทอร์เน็ตเว็บเบราเซอร์อีกหนึ่งตัวที่ได้รับความนิยมมากพอสมควร มีจุดเด่นในเรื่องความเร็วในการท่องอินเทอร์เน็ต (ผู้พัฒนาอ้างว่าเร็วที่สุดในโลก) มีอินเทอร์เฟชที่สวยงามน่าใช้ และมีฟีเจอร์ (Feature) ที่ดีหลายๆ อย่าง ถือเป็นทางเลือกเพิ่มเติมนอกจากเว็บเบราเซอร์ยอดนิยมตัวอื่นๆ อย่าง Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer หรือ Google Chrome

Skype 4.2.0.163 for Windows
ออกเวอร์ชันใหม่อีกแล้วสำหรับ Skype โปรแกรมไคลเอ็นต์สำหรับการสื่อสารแบบ VoIP ซึ่งได้รับความนิยมมากในอันดับต้นๆ ในการใช้งานเพื่อโทรศัพท์ผ่านระบบอินเทอร์เน็ต โดยล่าสุดได้ออกเวอร์ชัน 4.2.0.163 เมื่อวันที่ 27 เมษายน 2553 ที่ผ่านมา

Screen sharing
- Screen sharing from Skype 4.2 to Skype 4.0 or lower did not show video to the receiver if their computer had Pentium 4 or Pentium 3 processor.
Video
- The High Quality Video logo sometimes flashed during a video call.
- Outgoing video froze when Skype raised the outgoing video quality.
- When on a video call to an Asus Videophone users, the local video preview sometimes froze and the other side saw a green still image after some time into call.

McAfee Stinger 10.0.1.819 โปรแกรมฟรีสำหรับกำจัดไวรัส
McAfee Stinger 10.0.1.819 เวอร์ชันใหม่ล่าสุดของเครื่องมือสำหรับใช้ในการตรวจจับและกำจัดไวรัสแบบ Stand-alone จาก McAfee ซึ่งออกเมื่อวันที่ 25 มีนาคม 2552 ที่ผ่านมา โดยสามารถกำจัด ไวรัสและโทรจันสายพันธุ์ต่างๆ จำนวน 1,633 ตัว โดยในเวอร์ชันใหม่ล่าสุดนี้เพิ่มการตรวจสอบและลบมัลแวร์ "FakeAlert" Variants เช่น Kryptik, AVP Security, Fakespypro, Winwebsec, Antivirus Soft และ XPSpy เป็นต้น
การดาวน์โหลด McAfee Stinger

วิธีการใช้งาน McAfee Stinger
โปรแกรม Stinger นั้นสามารถใช้งานได้ใน 2 รูปแบบ คือ แบบกราฟิกอินเทอร์เฟช (Graphic User Interface) และ แบบคอมมานด์ไลน์ (Command-line)
• แบบกราฟิกอินเทอร์เฟช (Graphic User Interface)
วิธีการใช้งานแบบกราฟิกอินเทอร์เฟชนั้น เมื่อทำการดาวน์โหลดเสร็จแล้วให้ดำเนินการตามขั้นตอนดังนี้
1. ให้เปิดไปยังโฟลเดอร์ที่เก็บไฟล์ stinger1010819.exe ที่ทำการดาวน์โหลดมา จากนั้นทำการดับเบิลคลิกที่ไฟล์ดังกล่าว ซึ่งจะได้หน้าต่างดังรูปด้านล่าง
2. โดยดีฟอลท์นั้นจะทำการสแกนไดรฟ์ C: หากต้องการเลือกไดรฟ์หรือโฟลเดอร์ที่ต้องการสแกนไวรัสโดยคลิกที่ Add หรือ Browse หากต้องการลบไดรฟ์หรือโฟลเดอร์ที่ไม่ต้องการสแกนก็ให้เลือกรายการที่ต้องการ แล้วคลิก Remove
3. หากต้องการกำหนดรายละเอียดการทำงานของ Stinger ก็ให้คลิกที่ Preferences (ค่าดีฟอลท์ในกรณีที่ Stinger ตรวจพบไวรัสก็จะทำการรีแพร์ไฟล์ที่ติดไวรัสโดยอัตโนมัติ) เสร็จแล้วคลิก Scan Now
4. รอจนการทำงานแล้วเสร็จ อาจทำการสแกนอีกรอบเพื่อความแน่ใจ ปิดโปรแกรมเมื่อการทำงานแล้วเสร็จ
• แบบคอมมานด์ไลน์ (Command-line)
วิธีการใช้งานแบบแบบคอมมานด์ไลน์นั้น เมื่อทำการดาวน์โหลดเสร็จแล้วให้ดำเนินการตามขั้นตอนดังนี้
1. เปิดหน้าต่างคอมมานด์ไลน์โดยคลิกที่ Start คลิก All Programs คลิก Accessories แล้วคลิก Command Prompt
2. ให้เปลี่ยนไปยังไดเร็กตอรีที่เก็บไฟล์ที่ทำการดาวน์โหลดมา จากนั้นพิมพ์ stinger1010819.exe /? แล้วกด Enter จะได้ไดอะล็อกซ์แสดงรายละเอียดการใช้งาน ซึ่งมีอ็อปชันให้เลือกใช้งานดังนี้
/? = แสดงรายละเอียดการใช้งาน
/ADL = สแกน local drive ทุกไดรฟ์
/GO = ทำการสแกนในทันที่ที่กด Enter
/LOG = ให้บันทึก log file หลังจากการสแกนแล้วเสร็จ
/SILENT = ไม่ต้องแสดงหน้ากราฟิกอินเทอร์เฟช
3. ทำการรัน stinger1010819.exe อีกครั้งโดยเลือกอ็อปชันที่ต้องการ

McAfee Stinger 10.0.1.819 เวอร์ชันใหม่ล่าสุดของเครื่องมือสำหรับใช้ในการตรวจจับและกำจัดไวรัสแบบ Stand-alone จาก McAfee ซึ่งออกเมื่อวันที่ 25 มีนาคม 2552 ที่ผ่านมา โดยสามารถกำจัด ไวรัสและโทรจันสายพันธุ์ต่างๆ จำนวน 1,633 ตัว โดยในเวอร์ชันใหม่ล่าสุดนี้เพิ่มการตรวจสอบและลบมัลแวร์ "FakeAlert" Variants เช่น Kryptik, AVP Security, Fakespypro, Winwebsec, Antivirus Soft และ XPSpy เป็นต้น
การดาวน์โหลด McAfee Stinger

วิธีการใช้งาน McAfee Stinger
โปรแกรม Stinger นั้นสามารถใช้งานได้ใน 2 รูปแบบ คือ แบบกราฟิกอินเทอร์เฟช (Graphic User Interface) และ แบบคอมมานด์ไลน์ (Command-line)
• แบบกราฟิกอินเทอร์เฟช (Graphic User Interface)
วิธีการใช้งานแบบกราฟิกอินเทอร์เฟชนั้น เมื่อทำการดาวน์โหลดเสร็จแล้วให้ดำเนินการตามขั้นตอนดังนี้
1. ให้เปิดไปยังโฟลเดอร์ที่เก็บไฟล์ stinger1010819.exe ที่ทำการดาวน์โหลดมา จากนั้นทำการดับเบิลคลิกที่ไฟล์ดังกล่าว ซึ่งจะได้หน้าต่างดังรูปด้านล่าง
2. โดยดีฟอลท์นั้นจะทำการสแกนไดรฟ์ C: หากต้องการเลือกไดรฟ์หรือโฟลเดอร์ที่ต้องการสแกนไวรัสโดยคลิกที่ Add หรือ Browse หากต้องการลบไดรฟ์หรือโฟลเดอร์ที่ไม่ต้องการสแกนก็ให้เลือกรายการที่ต้องการ แล้วคลิก Remove
3. หากต้องการกำหนดรายละเอียดการทำงานของ Stinger ก็ให้คลิกที่ Preferences (ค่าดีฟอลท์ในกรณีที่ Stinger ตรวจพบไวรัสก็จะทำการรีแพร์ไฟล์ที่ติดไวรัสโดยอัตโนมัติ) เสร็จแล้วคลิก Scan Now
4. รอจนการทำงานแล้วเสร็จ อาจทำการสแกนอีกรอบเพื่อความแน่ใจ ปิดโปรแกรมเมื่อการทำงานแล้วเสร็จ
• แบบคอมมานด์ไลน์ (Command-line)
วิธีการใช้งานแบบแบบคอมมานด์ไลน์นั้น เมื่อทำการดาวน์โหลดเสร็จแล้วให้ดำเนินการตามขั้นตอนดังนี้
1. เปิดหน้าต่างคอมมานด์ไลน์โดยคลิกที่ Start คลิก All Programs คลิก Accessories แล้วคลิก Command Prompt
2. ให้เปลี่ยนไปยังไดเร็กตอรีที่เก็บไฟล์ที่ทำการดาวน์โหลดมา จากนั้นพิมพ์ stinger1010819.exe /? แล้วกด Enter จะได้ไดอะล็อกซ์แสดงรายละเอียดการใช้งาน ซึ่งมีอ็อปชันให้เลือกใช้งานดังนี้
/? = แสดงรายละเอียดการใช้งาน
/ADL = สแกน local drive ทุกไดรฟ์
/GO = ทำการสแกนในทันที่ที่กด Enter
/LOG = ให้บันทึก log file หลังจากการสแกนแล้วเสร็จ
/SILENT = ไม่ต้องแสดงหน้ากราฟิกอินเทอร์เฟช
3. ทำการรัน stinger1010819.exe อีกครั้งโดยเลือกอ็อปชันที่ต้องการ
